Squash Club with a Big Heart.

Charity event in aid of St Gemma’s Hospice and member Peter James.

On 3rd & 4th of January 2014, 10 members old and new conquered a gruelling 26 hour non stop Squash marathon.

Special thanks for a well attended event to everybody that came to support during the 2 days!

Lorraine Haythornthwaite & Julie Baldwin have over the last five months cleared all the side garden of trees, shrubs, brambles and nettles. Back breaking work in all weathers.

Now have replanted new shrubs, flowers and bulbs ready for spring. Also Howard Stevenson for work on the fencing.


The club has a glass backed show court and 2 enclosed courts with viewing gallery, there ia also a gym for playing members. Social facilities include bar, with regular social events.

The club offers facilities for players of all standards from juniors and beginners up to our first team yorkshire league players. If you are just starting out or are keen to take your squash to the next level of skill and ability, then Rothwell Squash Club is the place for you.

We have an excellent cross section of standards so there are many oppertunities to meet new people to play, by joining in the mini leagues, summer leagues, club nights and social evenings, coaching and competitions.


We have closed and handicapped tournaments throughout the year for men, ladies, juniors and veterans as well as internal mini leagues.

The club fields 8 teams in the Leeds metro squash leagues, and now has a Yorkshire league team
